The Appalachian Fencing Club's website has recently undergone a major face lift both in appearance and functionality. As a result of this update some content has been removed, most notably forum posts and user registrations. Hopefully this update will provide a more friendly and stable experience for our visitors. If you have any questions or comments please let us know either on the forums or via email.

Well this news is a little late, but we have finished out the 2007-2008 school year and it's time to prepare for 08-09!.

First off the new officers were elected in may with the following results:

President: Adrian Steffen
Vice-President: Christine Mondou
Treasurer: Nicole Diggins

Also everyone should be aware that there are still two signifigant tournaments taking place in North Carolina this summer. The State Games of North Carolina are being held on June 21 at the Greensboro Coliseum, preregistration should be done by the 4th of June. Second, the Carolina Cup is being held at MSFC on July 26. Good luck to any fencers competing in these events.

Finally, several people are spending the summer in Boone, if you happen to meet any of the incoming freshmen there for orientation don't forget to put in a good word about the fencing club!

Have a good summer and we'll see you in the fall!
